Green seaglass and greenstone ring

Sterling silver and Waiheke Island found seaglass and a greenstone cabochon. Fabricated, bezel set with granulation. Each seaglass ring is unique and designed to accommodate the shape of the individual piece of glass balanced with silver granulation balls.

Sterling silver, glass, antique emerald. Fabricated from belcher chain, wire, granulation silver balls, bezel set seaglass and an antique faceted emerald.

The pieces I create start from observations of New Zealand’s flora, fauna and landscapes, and a desire to translate them into objects. I also draw inspiration from found objects, historical traditions and the materials themselves.
