These terms and conditions of sales are governed by the New Zealand Fair Trading Act and the consumer guarantees act

 

Pricing
All prices in the gallery are in New Zealand Dollars and are inclusive of GST

Payment
Payment must be made in full before the purchased artworks are delivered or shipped.

Layby
When paying over several instalments, the artwork remains at space until the final payment is received.

The artwork is withdrawn from sale during the layby period or, if displayed, will be marked with a green sticker.

The client can cancel the purchase at any time during the layby period. However, Space reserves the right to retain the initial payment as a default penalty.

Returns and refund policy
Under Consumer law in New Zealand retailers do not have to refund goods if customers have changed their minds.
However space gallery can assist with insurance claims in case of damage during shipping.

Shipping
Space can organise the packing and shipping of the artwork to an address specified by the client. The cost of this shipping and insurance will be added to the invoice. Payment must be received in full before an artwork is shipped.

International Customs:
When we are shipping outside of New Zealand there is a possibility that the country’s customs service inspect the parcel and charge the recipient for import duties, quarantine fees or other taxes. This is outside of our control and Space art gallery cannot quote nor cover any such fees .
As per our legal requirements, a customs declaration will be on the parcel, stating contents and value.

Online Shopping
All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars.
In case of price discrepancies between the gallery, the website and the online shop, the online shop price is the sales price.
