Margaret Emsley
I am drawn to flowers and insects. Lately I have been influenced by the early botanical artists who would sometimes deconstruct the flower, stem and leaves in order to portray each of its parts. Often the proportions were distorted and forms were exaggerated.

Jenny Mason
The pieces I create start from observations of New Zealand’s flora, fauna and landscapes, and a desire to translate them into objects. I also draw inspiration from found objects, historical traditions and the materials themselves.
